Senior Marketing & BD Manager – Growth Markets

This dynamic UK law firm who partner with leading national enterprises, corporates and start-ups have a great career opportunity within their central MBD function.

Managaing a medium sized BD team, you will lead and deliver an array of interesting and challenging Marketing & BD projects that help shape client relationships, enhance market profile and win new business across a number of key sectors, service lines and growth areas for the Firm.

Key responsibilities:

Work closely with key sector group heads / service line leaders to devise and drive forward the Marketing / BD strategy within their groups.

Develop and embed campaigns and activities that enhance the Firm’s reputation in key segments of the market.

Initiate and implement revenue generating activities focused on identified client opportunities.

Encourage, develop, and ‘empower’ team members to own projects, engage in client development activities and build personal relationships with fee earners.

Identify and interpret market/client trends converting them into actionable campaigns, client conversations and sales opportunities.

The ideal candidate:

Sound commercial awareness and a good understanding of business development and marketing principles.

Experience of managing, influencing and gaining the confidence of senior stakeholders and colleagues.

Strong analytical skills and be comfortable using market/client insights to drive growth initiatives and further enhance reputations of individuals and the wider Firms services.

Proven people management and development skills.

A team player with a passion and ambition to develop a real competitive advantage in this exciting marketplace.

Legal sector expertise is desirable.
