This award-winning Professional Services Firm are in the process of expanding their Client Development function and are now looking for an enthusiastic BD / Bids Professional to join the team.
You will play an integral part within the team supporting across Bids/Tenders, Key Account Management and Client Listening programmes, ultimately helping drive revenue and client growth within the firm’s existing client base and new business programme.
To aid your career progression you will also benefit from a 12-month training programme and be mentored by a talented and experienced team of BD and Client Development experts.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver and write compelling, benefit led bids and tender content across the firm.
Develop bespoke client presentations and other pitch presentation proposals.
Work with the wider Business Development team to develop and maintain the Firms library of pre-written content and credential materials.
Produce key client account plans and relationship maps.
Support in the production of independent client relationship review feedback as well as maintaining the activity undertaken.
Support across client research and track client’s news and industry trends.
Support with onboarding plans of key client wins and with the key client development announcements.
Support the Head of Client Development and Head of Bids to produce monthly board/metrics documents and quality client executive reports.
The ideal candidate:
Experience of managing bid and proposal documents with an understanding of the end-to-end bid management process.
Sound commercial awareness and a good understanding of business development and / or client development principles.
Strong analytical skills including the interpretation of data to identify key themes and tends.
Experience of managing, influencing and gaining the confidence of senior stakeholders and colleagues.
Strong writing, editing and proof-reading skills.
An understanding of pipeline management and reporting metrics.
Previous experience gained working in a Professional Services environment, ideally within a law firm would be beneficial.
