This leading global law firm has a fantastic opportunity for a Client Development / Client Relationship Manager to help support their International Key Client Programme.
This pivotal role will see you focus on a variety of priority clients along with supporting the Head of Client Relationship Management for Financial Services on various Business Development activity.
Work closely with practice group leaders, partners and other key stakeholders within the firm to help deliver the Key Client strategy and Priority Client programme.
Act as the primary point of contact for key client relationships and effectivity manage/triage workflow and key stakeholder queriers.
Develop a communications and engagement plan to further increase internal visibility and wider adoption of the firm’s Client Development approach.
Assess and report on client engagement through metrics.
Help ensure the wider MBD team is well educated in the Client Development methodology to achieve the firm’s objectives.
Support and coach partners through the business development cycle ensuring they have the appropriate tools to win work and advance relationships.
Work Collaboratively across the matrix structure of Practice Groups, Sectors and Locations.
The ideal candidate:
Must have manager level experience (strategic and tactical) ideally gained within a client development / KAM role.
Strong probing, consultative listening skills coupled with the ability to negotiate, persuade and manager stakeholders.
Experience of managing projects involving others in virtual team environments.
Have a deep knowledge of MBD processes for professional services including a sound understanding of new business processes, digital marketing, CRM as a concept and emerging technologies needed to win and retain client work.
Proven sales techniques and coaching skills.
Ideally experience of working in a multi-site Professional Services environment preferably writhing a law firm.
