Working across a variety of interesting sectors and practice groups you will focus on helping the firm win new profitable business by leading and project managing the creation of cutting-edge bids activity.
Advise and challenge legal teams on the decision to respond to bid opportunities.
Develop the bid strategy including win themes and value proposition.
Scope the bid opportunity to understand clients’ needs ensuring all proposal material is relevant and responsive.
Working closely with the subject matter experts and relationship leads, manage the overall production of the bid.
Produce compelling and client focused content / being responsible for the overall look and feel of the document.
Coordinate prestation rehearsals and offer advice and coaching on style, approach and key messaging.
Support post-bid / pitch follow up activity such as client debriefs.
Work with the wider Business Development team to develop and maintain the Firms library of pre-written content and credential materials.
The ideal candidate:
Experience of managing the end-to-end bid management process.
Experience of working on public and private sector tenders and frameworks is desired.
Sound commercial awareness and a good understanding of business development principles.
Experience of managing, influencing and gaining the confidence of senior stakeholders and colleagues.
Strong writing, editing and proof-reading skills.
An understanding of pipeline management and reporting metrics.
Bid project management experience gained in a Professional Services environment beneficial, but not essential for interview.
