This ‘stand out’ global law firm have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager to play a pivotal part in helping the Firm and their client’s transition to and thrive in a more sustainable future.

Working closely with board members, partners, wider practice, sector and in-country teams, you will establish and deliver a unified ‘go-to-market’ strategy for their SESG service offering.

The remit is global, leading on all aspects of strategic delivery across EMEA and AsiaPac

Key responsibilities:

To construct and deliver multi-channel campaigns / identify key sustainability issues and messages that will position the firms’ lawyers as thought leaders and enhance the firms’ reputation in the market for delivering SESG-related advice to clients.

Provide coaching/mentoring/consultancy to the Head of Sustainability and ESG and Lead Partners across the International team.

Prepare the ESG marketing budget and ensure allocated budgets are effectively handled and that investment is targeted at agreed priorities.

Manage the firm’s external sector relationships with industry bodies, ensuring opportunities are identified and maximised.

Promote strong market orientation, influence strategy formation and investment decisions.

Create thought provoking marketing campaigns and client development activity: connecting clients to opportunities and engaging on headline agendas.

Work closely with sector and in-country teams to ensure ESG representation/input into the firms’ wider strategy.

Support and coach partners through the ESG marketing plan ensuring they have the appropriate tools to win work and advance relationships.

Manage the team providing leadership and direction to the group.

The ideal candidate:

Must have senior manager level experience (strategic and tactical) gained within an international organisation.

Have a deep knowledge of Marketing & Business Development processes (traditional & digital) gained within the professional services sector or ESG consulting space.

Possess strong partner and senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Be able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels and across multiple jurisdictions.

Ideally a working knowledge of SESG, including environmental, climate, energy transition and social and governance factors.
