This dynamic law firm with an impressive growth strategy and collaborative culture have a great career opportunity within their New Business Development team.
The role is client facing working directly with partners, external organisations, key prospects and refers in order to raise profile, build new networks and new business opportunities across the North.
Key responsibilities:
Work alongside the partners and wider BD team to identify and develop relationships with key clients and prospects.
Have a focus on cross selling both service and sector specialisms to existing and new clients.
Identify and working with refers developing pipeline opportunities.
Actively build and develop new networks across the business and key target areas.
Build and maintain a live pipeline of leads from the firms marketing and BD events programmes.
Provide business intelligence on key competitors and marketplace trends, identifying ways of gaining a competitive advantage in the market.
Coach and train partners and lawyers across sales/BD best practice for winning and growing new clients.
The ideal candidate:
Sound commercial awareness and a good understanding of business development and deal origination strategies and tactics.
A proven track record of introducing new business opportunities & delivering BD pans, campaigns, and initiatives.
A proven ability to develop and build relationships across a wide range of industries and with a diverse set of buyers e.g. CFO’s, CEO’s etc
Experience of managing, influencing, and gaining the confidence of senior stakeholders and colleagues.
A team player with a passion and ambition to develop a real competitive advantage in this ever-changing marketplace.
Legal sector and / or Professional Services knowledge is desirable but not essential for interview.
