Business Development Manager – London Office

£55,000 -£65,000

One of the fastest growing Professional Services Firms in the UK are now looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join their vibrant London office.

This is a dual facing role involving client-facing business development as well as the management of internal business development pipelines and processes, ultimately helping to embed a first-class business development culture within the Firm.

Key responsibilities:

Working with the Business Development Director, devise and deliver the Business Development & Marketing strategy along with program of activities for the London region.

Identify opportunities and generate new business leads to support regional/national growth plans.

Establish a strong regional network / Build strong relationships with new and existing intermediaries / Identify the right forums for prospect/client engagement.

Develop more work opportunities from existing business relationships within the Firm.

Coach, mentor and support key stakeholders with their Business Development activity across existing and emerging sectors and business lines.

Monitor sales & marketing information including conversion rates, key targets, pipeline management, and budget and trend information.

Work closely with key stakeholders to develop and present new products and services to enhance existing relationships and growth targets.

Assist in the preparation of pitches and proposals.

Manage the Business Development Executive.

The ideal candidate:

Skilled in Business Development, Marketing and Client Relationship Management strategies gained within Professional Services.

A strong understanding of the UK Corporate, Mid-Market and SME environment beneficial.

Experience in dealing with senior management and key stakeholders.

Outstanding relationship building and people management / project management skills.

Proven ability to drive and develop pipeline opportunities.

Thorough understanding of the intricacies involved in complex sales and long selling cycles.

An understanding of the London marketplace with strong networks and connections beneficial, but not essential for interview.

A team player, with the ability to manage and motivate both upwards and downwards.
